About the role

As a Data Analyst in our QInsure Business Performance and Optimisation team, you will work closely with Senior Analysts and complete analysis to provide insights of key system and performance data to assist in the optimisation of QInsure’s performance.


This will include conducting business analysis, working with stakeholders to identify, analyse, communicate, validate, and document requirements for business intelligence and analytics, whilst also identifying performance risks and opportunities through data and analysis.


About you

You will demonstrate well-developed analytical thinking with numerical and data problem solving skills as well as a solid understanding of business problems/processes, data, data structures and their value regarding use for analysis.
Furthermore, your skills and qualifications may include the following:

  • Demonstrated technical skills:
    o Experience building solutions in Python and R
    o Intermediate SQL & Excel skills
    o Experience with Power BI
    o Experience with one or more data visualisation tools
    o Experience leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Ability to quickly acquire expertise in business unit operations and processes, as well as an ability to understand insurance systems and capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire knowledge and experience leveraging business analytics to improve business performance
